Dining: British & French

The hotel features RAILS Restaurant & Little Bar, serving British dishes with French influences. Breakfast includes one hot dish and one hot beverage per person at Plum and Split Milk restaurant. GNH Bar & Terrace provides cocktails, drinks, and food.

The Botanical Boys conduct terrarium building workshops at Coal Drops Yard. The six-lane synthetic ice rink is located under the kissing roof to the north of Coal Drops Yard.

Location: King's Cross Hub

Located in King's Cross, the Great Northern Hotel is 900 m from Russell Square and 700 m from London Euston. London City Airport is 15 km away. Nearby landmarks include Marylebone (2 km), ZSL London Zoo (2 km), Big Ben (3 km), Tate Modern (3 km), Trafalgar Square (3 km), Coca-Cola London Eye (3 km), and Buckingham Palace (4 km).

Services: Modern Needs

The hotel includes a Pantry on each floor, open 24/7, offering tea, Nespresso coffee, baked treats, and fruit. The hotel provides Wi-Fi and in-room dining. Great Northern Hotel expects its suppliers to police their supply chains to prevent modern slavery. There is a strong emphasis on sanitation of high-touch point areas, including hotel and bar entrances, restrooms, door handles, lift buttons, counter tops, and railings.

“This property nails the location, steps from major transit hubs and the evolving Coal Drop Yards scene. While rooms might be compact, they're well-appointed, reflecting a commitment to both Victorian heritage and modern luxury. I like the hotel's dedication to sustainability and the vibrant atmosphere created by the live jazz at the bar.”
