The room had a functional stove stop and microwave. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette area, stocked with various pots, pans, and cutlery. I found the location to be very strategic with access to multiple tube lines only a few minutes away. The soundproofing was effective as the city road noise was undetectable.
The breakfast options were quite limited and the buffet selection was small for the price.

The room was very clean and quiet. the bed was comfortable. I slept soundly. i also liked the complimentary bean-to-cup machine in reception. It offered a nice espresso.

Excellent Barbican Stay

the location was superb. the tube station is so close, it made getting around easy. the room had a well-equipped kitchenette with pots, pans and cutlery, a great feature for a short stay. the universal charging ports, including USB, were very useful.
the room soundproofing wasn't ideal. i could hear noise from the corridor, and it woke me up at 2 am.

the staff was quite friendly and helpful, answering all my questions quickly. reception provided a complimentary comb when i lost mine, i appreciate that. the secure entry system added an extra layer of comfort, i felt safe at all times.

the location is central and well connected. buses and the underground are easily accessible. the facilities are good and the beds are comfortable. pubs, restaurants, cafes, markets and sights are within walking distance.
check in was very slow. the rooms are poorly soundproofed. there is an issue with disrespectful noisy guests in the early hours.
