adequate stay near hyde park

ideal locationfriendly stafflovely chatdated bathroomno blindhot room
the location was ideal, very close to lancaster gate tube station. kensington gardens was just across the road (very beautiful!). the staff members were super friendly. i had some lovely chats with some of the women cleaning the rooms. i felt very welcome.
the bathroom was very dated. there were no blinds on the windows, even in the bathroom, unusual. the room was hot with no thermostat to control it. i found this quite uncomfortable.

Acceptable stay near Hyde Park

convenient locationfriendly staffsatisfactory breakfastcarpet stainsmall bathroomstreet noise
The location was very Convenient near Hyde Park. Staff members were friendly, which helped. The included breakfast provided a satisfactory start to each day.
My room's carpet had some visible stains i noticed. The bathroom was quite small with minimal counter space. Street noise was audible at times, especially early in the morning, i thought.

inconsistent temperaturepaper-thin walls
The shower was a real letdown. it barely trickled water, and the temperature was inconsistent, shifting from hot to cold without warning. I didn't feel clean after. also, the walls seemed paper-thin. i could hear conversations and tv noises from the room next door, difficult to sleep. this noise continued late into the night. It was hard to get any rest.

adequate stay near Hyde Park, but issues exist

cramped roomdated fittings
I found the room quite cramped. It felt smaller than expected. THERE was very little space to move around. I also noticed the bathroom fittings looked dated. The shower pressure was good. the overall bathroom suite seemed like something from the 1970s. This affected my impression of the room.
