The Bell Inn is often praised for its comfortable and well-appointed rooms, some featuring lovely views of the courtyard or direct access to the garden-perfect for guests with dogs. Many appreciate the quality toiletries, tea and coffee selections, and even classical music playing in the rooms. The breakfast, cooked to order and served at the table, is a highlight for many, with options like a full English breakfast alongside juices and croissants, although a few guests have found the general food prices to be on the higher side. Conveniently located near the Nene resort natural park and with easy access off the A1M, the hotel also offers the opportunity to purchase local Stilton cheese.

The staff demonstrated great communication before my arrival, and nothing seemed too difficult. I appreciated their attentiveness. the housekeeper provided extra teas and milk upon request. She was very helpful. the evening meals, christmas lunch, and breakfasts i had were all well presented and delicious, and the dog friendly room worked well. the room had a nearby grassed area.
The wifi connection was a little slow at times. That was a minor inconvenience.

good breakfastfull selectionimmaculate roomhigh drink priceexpensive lemonadeprice surprise
i really liked breakfast ITSELF. it had a good selection and i had my fill. i also found that the room was immaculate and very cosy. even the ev charging points worked well and were priced right.
the light lunch was advertised but a drink price surprised me. i was charged almost five pound for lemonade from the pump. that seems MUCH to high. i think it's important to watch out for those drink prices.

the music was excessively loud. i contacted reception around 11:30 pm but no help was available. the staff didn't lower the music or close the event room windows to reduce the noise. plus. they wouldn't move me to a different room.

the room i was in had a carpet i thought was very dirty. i also discovered a leak. I woke up at 6 am because water was dripping from the room above. a party with music and a dj on saturday night made a lot of noise until midnight, i was not informed about this, and my room was right below the noise.

awesome stay!

freshly made breakfastquality hotelfresh towelsnice ambience
the breakfast was totally lovely. they make it freshly to order. our room had all things we needed. i thought nespresso was a sign of a quality hotel. we really enjoyed the ambience i felt when i walked into the room, fresh towels were folded nicely next to shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
i noticed a very slight delay when ordering my drinks at the bar, but the staff resolved it quickly. it was during a busy period anyway, so it wasn't a big deal.
