It is near the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff (1 km), St David's Metropolitan Cathedral (0.5 km), and Cardiff Market (0.5 km). Host a meeting in the city center venue, a short walk from the Principality Stadium and Cardiff Central train station.

Hotel Services

Lawyers, bankers, auditors, and insurers based in the United Kingdom provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance, and accounting services. Service providers acting as processors in the United Kingdom, the EEA, and the USA provide other IT and system administration services.

“I'd recommend this charming, historic hotel; its Victorian architecture is a lovely counterpoint to Cardiff's modern energy. Its proximity to both Cardiff Castle and the city's arcades makes it easy to experience the best of the area, and the on-site restaurant is a real plus after a day of exploring. If you appreciate classic elegance and a central location, this could be a perfect choice.”

Historical charm and prime location

friendly receptionistclean roomuseful amenitiesbroken lifts
I appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable receptionist. My standard single room was very clean. It was also well-equipped with a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. I would consider returning to explore the area further (maybe next year).
I noticed the lifts were out of service. My room was on a higher floor, and the stairs became a challenge.
Dining
8/10
The hotel offers a breakfast with a standard selection. The options were quite tasty and adequately met my expectations (especially the sausages were a great way to start the day).
Rooms

My standard single room included tea and coffee making facilities. A tv was available in the room, next to chairs. The bathroom featured both a bath and a shower, awesome for flexibility.

mixed feelings at this hotel

good breakfastbroken liftmissing fridge
the breakfast did a adequate job. the coffee was alright.
the lift was busted. i had to haul my luggage up several flights. the staff did not offer real help, and the room only had one chair. it was just not good enough for the price. i wanted a mini fridge, but that was not provided.
