The hotel is very clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. USB charging points are available, which I found great. The fridge proved very handy too.
The bathroom layout is open. Privacy may be compromised if you share the room with someone you aren't familiar with.

The hotel is modern and well designed. rooms are super clean. The bed was very comfortable. i found excellent value for money, it has a great location on the river. breakfast had good variety and great quality.
I noticed the sink drained slowly. I believe it needs more gradient.

My innside room included a complimentary mini bar with non-alcoholic drinks. the bed was huge and very comfortable. The room was also very clean. the air-conditioned room had an ensuite bathroom with a shower, not a bath.

The hotel has an italian restaurant. I saw plenty of restaurants within a few minutes walk too. the main railway station is a 15-minute walk away. i did appreciate having an evening drink on the patio, overlooking the famous tyne bridges.

The modern hotel is on the hadrian's path in the city center. it is not located at the end of the path. That's an additional hour away. i feel staying here and returning from the end of hadrian's path via metro or taxi is worthwhile.

breakfast was amazing. it had good variety, and i thought it was great quality. although i did not dine there, there is an italian restaurant at the hotel. it looked good, with an outdoor eating area next to the river.
