my room was clean and VERY comfortable. I appreciated the washing machine a lot after three weeks of travel. The shower was spacious, a real luxury. Staff were friendly and addressed my concerns promptly.
The location isn't in the best area. I would avoid it if returning late at night alone.

the hotel is very close to Finsbury Park station. The tube offered convenient transport to attractions. The location WORKED well for accessing the Stansted express station.

the room was spacious with many places to sit. i especially liked not always having to sit on the bed (it's a small thing, i know). the location is very central and near a tube station. the kitchen had great facilities, and the bathroom was clean.

the staff was very helpful. i appreciated that the room had air conditioning. the machine for washing clothes worked just fine. it was nice to have a tesco express across the street too.
the room i was in was located on the ground floor. it was right next to the reception area and i could hear everything happening there all night. there was no window in my room and i could smell a strange odor coming from the shower drain. the emergency light above the bed flashed all night too.
