excellent locationfriendly staff
the location is excellent close to the train station this made arrival simple even with luggage the pub staff were friendly they provided baggage safekeeping this was super convenient for my travel plans
i noticed the water glasses were a bit small for my liking smaller glasses meant i had to refill more often

GREAT stay Near Paddington Station!!

The hotel's location IS super convenient. I found myself right next to Paddington Station, made getting around SO easy. The pub downstairs was a HUGE plus. The food was tasty AND the atmosphere was lively after those long days sightseeing. The staff were ALWAYS friendly AND helpful.
the stairwell HAD a noticeable odor. i wish there were an elevator for luggage. Carrying bags up multiple flights of stairs was not fun at ALL.

The pub offers a full English breakfast daily, very convenient FOR early morning departures. Also the dinner menu includes traditional dishes like fish and chips. The pub includes Paddington bear pictures on the wall, very themed with a big Paddington bear toy.

The room HAS modern amenities, very suitable for both short AND long stays. Each room has a TV, a table, a fridge, and a luggage area. Toiletries are provided. Rooms are also equipped with air conditioning, essential DURING warmer months.

The staff responds quickly to requests for assistance and are very polite with all guests. They offer tutorials for using in-room facilities. the hotel provides luggage storage before check-in, VERY helpful.

i found the location convenient. it was so close to the train station (this made getting to the airport easy). i also enjoyed the pub atmosphere and liked that i could go downstairs for a drink or food. dinner at the pub was really good (i had fish and chips!).
check-in felt a bit chaotic to me. i had to stand at the bar with my luggage next to people ordering drinks (it felt a little rushed). the room was quite spacious and clean, but there was a lot of noise from the underground. there was no complimentary water provided, which i found a bit inconvenient.

loud musictrain vibrations
The noise was a real issue for me. My room was located above the pub, the loud music kept me awake until late (until 1 a.m., to be exact). I could also feel the vibrations from the trains running underneath the building (I did not sleep well).

The room was very very comfy and tidy.
The stairs were narrow and steep (I was on the third floor). It was difficult to manage luggage. The hot water took about ten minutes to come through.
