Banff Rocky Mountain Resort provides Loft Wolf Condos with a King bed in the loft area, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom. Two Bedroom Wolf Condos have two bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with a Queen bed. One Bedroom Wolf Condos include a living room with a sofabed. Newly renovated Junior Suites feature two Queen Beds, a comfy chair, and a two-person desk with two chairs. Most rooms feature a fireplace, wet bar or kitchen, and a private entrance. Suites include ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, a dining table, and garden furniture. Bathrooms provide free toiletries. Kitchens are equipped with cookware/kitchen utensils and an electric kettle. Rooms also offer an AM/FM alarm clock and a flat-screen TV with carpeted or parquet floors. Certain suites provide a wood-burning fireplace, a kitchen, and a living area with a sofabed.

The Alpha Bistro onsite serves breakfast from 8 am to 11 am daily. Alpha Bistro participates in the Key to Banff savings program.

a lovely mountain stay

i felt peace every moment in our suite. it had a full kitchen where i made us romantic breakfasts. the fireplace glowed making our evenings tender. the shuttle driver also told funny stories, it made the travel so nice.
i noticed a slight musty scent in the hallway, though our room was fresh.

the fitness center has three treadmills plus two stationary bikes available to all guests. there is also a tennis court with all necessary equipment provided at no extra charge, i think it is a good inclusion.

the on-site restaurant features a menu with many options, and food there is carefully prepared. breakfast includes fresh pastries, also there is a tasty selection of local jams and honey, it felt so genuine.

The location was convenient, offering a quick drive to downtown.
The outdoor hot tub needed serious attention. It didn't seem properly cleaned and the water smelled unpleasant. The room felt average. The housekeeping service was inconsistent and didn't always replenish toiletries even when requested. I ended up buying some from the store (which was inconvenient).

A Good Stay Near the Mountains

The drive to ski resorts proved perfect, a quick fifteen minutes to reach the slopes. Shuttles were available, I noted. Banff town centre was close. A ten minute drive. I loved the many amenities. A gym, pool and hot tub was available.
The room possessed a slightly peculiar smell. I aired it out by opening the window.

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was a lovely start. I found the service quick, I appreciate. The menu included several options, so I had choice and the coffee was fresh and hot each morning.

I found the furniture, kitchen cabinets, countertop, and bath in good condition. The tennis court and fitness facilities looked well cared for. I really liked the location near trees and a great biking path to town. The spacious room included quite a few amenities. A free shuttle to the downtown area was available.
The upper floor unit got quite warm, even in the winter. I had to open the windows.

The resort is on the outskirts, a short drive to restaurants. Its location is near the forest, not directly in town, awesome for quick access, about five minutes, into town.

the staff was friendly and helpful. the on-site restaurant offered very good food plus service was fantastic. the shuttle bus into town was very handy it helped us get around. the rocky mountain company bath products in the bathrooms were also very nice.
the stove was outdated and its condition was not optimal. when the oven was on i felt heat escaping. some pots and pans were outdated they also did not seem very clean. this made cooking difficult.
