the festive afternoon tea included a choir, it was very nice. The hotel decor felt very atmospheric at christmas. the attention to detail at this hotel is staggering, i noticed that EVERYBODY was so friendly.

I had some issues . Room service did not follow my specific instructions. I asked for a knock instead of the doorbell because of my kids, yet they rang the doorbell several times. The fire alarm also went off randomly most days of my week stay. It was disappointing given the hotel's reputation

The hotel stored some of our luggage, so that we would not have to drag so much for Lyon and Paris. I heard the driver call reception. They were ready for us. The reception greeted us royally.

I walked in to the tea room, and the hostess was really rude. Her name is Annabel. She should be smiling and cute as a customer service employee. Our table was not ready, and we asked her if she can ask someone to clean it faster. She said we have to wait until her manager decides to call someone to get the table ready for us.
