The beds were very comfortable. I received complimentary cakes and bubbles because it was my birthday. The doorman was helpful getting a taxi. Breakfast had a good selection.
The room maintenance was poor. There were ill-fitting carpets. Some furniture pieces were broken.

dark roomunderwhelming shower
I was honestly a bit let down by my room. it felt quite dark, almost gloomy. also, the shower wasn't great. It didn't feel like what i'd expect from a hotel of this supposed caliber (maybe my expectations were too high).
