great location tidy room vinyl floors minimal furniture
The location was great, it made it very easy to get to many points of interest. The room was clean and tidy TOO. Daily housekeeping ensured that everything was always in order.
The room was very discouraging from the vinyl floors. The bare minimal furniture didn't help either. There wasn't even a comfy chair. The bed, if you can call it that, was the worst I have EVER slept on.

convenient location tube station qr code opened window
the hotel location allowed easy walks to many attractions. the southwark tube station was nearby and convenient. i could order extra pillows with a qr code which seemed new. the room had many sockets and a window that actually opened.
the hotel room felt a little noisy at night because outside noise entered the room.

lovely stay near southwark tube
modern room good space qr code friendly maids
the room was modern and of a good size, especially considering the location. there was enough space for luggage and for moving around even after some shopping. i liked that you could scan a qr code to order extra pillows (like deliveroo!). the maids were friendly too.
The reception staff did not smile much or greet guests often. They seemed busy.

the reception area provides ample seating for relaxation. there are also numerous conveniently placed plug sockets in the rooms. a window that opens allows fresh air circulation in the room.

breakfast was a full buffet, with many food options. there were many coffee and bakery shops in the area. dinners at the hotel were excellent (i was happy after a long day).

the hotel's proximity to southwark tube station is a definite advantage. it is just around the corner. this tube station is usually quiet, which simplifies travel.

mediocre stay, some issues with noise
poor sound isolation night noise
breakfast included many options and the choices were suitable.
the sound isolation was poor i found. despite closed windows, noise at night was significant. the room also had humidity as the bathroom ventilation did not work well.
