the location is superb, providing easy access to key attractions. i found the staff friendly and always willing to assist. the breakfast was a good experience, with a good selection. the pub attached to the place had a genuinely english feel.
the room felt slightly smaller than i anticipated from the photos, although this was a minor issue.

polite staffbuffet choice
The staff were polite and helpful. I especially liked the quick and efficient service (they were always ready to assist!). breakfast was delicious with a good choice from the buffet. The pastries were delectable.

The breakfast included both continental options and cooked-to-order dishes. The atmosphere stood out, and the hotel had a distinctive style. Staff members were attentive and addressed dietary needs, even sourcing non-dairy butter nearby. I received a quiet room on the second floor, as requested.
The absence of air conditioning was noticeable, especially with warm weather. Only fans provided relief. Early morning road work was disruptive.

my room lacked air conditioning which was a problem. the provided fans only offered limited relief from the heat. i found the bathroom needed some attention as i noticed a large stain on the floor.

The staff members were kind and helpful. They assisted with several requests. the food, including breakfast and dinner, was good. complimentary refreshments were available in the room, a nice gesture. being greeted by name upon arrival was a personal touch.
I found no air conditioning in the room. I did not check for it beforehand. the windows only open slightly. This limits airflow.

The location was perfect! though the parking was expensive. several underground stations are within a couple of minutes walk. various sights such as st paul's and the london eye are within walking distance. This made exploring easy.
