Powered by AI
Malmaison Edinburgh City enjoys a brilliant, central location, very close to Waverley train station and within easy walking distance of main attractions like the Royal Mile and St Andrew's Square; its proximity to Rose Street's dog-friendly pubs is a definite plus for dog owners, who are warmly welcomed with treats and amenities for a £25 fee. Guests frequently compliment the spacious, clean rooms and comfortable beds, noting the triple glazing ensures a quiet stay despite the busy surroundings. Some guests, however, have found the rooms a bit dark, which can be a challenge.

The room felt quite dark. the main ceiling lights weren't working properly. also, i was hoping for a higher floor, but i got a room below reception. This was a bit disappointing. it seemed like i had to keep the curtains closed all the time to keep the room private, and it made the room even darker.

The room felt quite dark, especially since the main ceiling lights weren't working properly. i had expected better lighting. It made it hard to get ready in the mornings. also, the room decor seemed a bit tired. It could really use some updating. i found myself wishing for some brighter and more modern touches.

The location was great for exploring. Staff were excellent.
My room was dark, like a dormouse habitat. Applying make-up was a joke because proper lighting was absent in both the bedroom and bathroom.

I was frustrated that the main ceiling lights in my room did not work. This made the room very dark. Even worse, I had requested a room on floors 5 or 7, but I was given a room below reception. The room decor was poor, and I had to keep the curtains closed to maintain privacy from people on the main floors. This made an already dark room even darker. WHAT A DISASTER!!!
