the service was very good in both the bar and restaurant, even though it was busy. i found the hotel grounds lovely and well maintained to wander. i really liked that the food had plenty of choices to accommodate everyone. i was happy with the good value spa.
check-in experienced a queue because many people arrived at the same time. i felt the reception staff seemed a bit fed up. the check in process took a long time.

the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. the quality of the food was good and there was a good range to choose from. i enjoyed every dinner (especially the pie!).

inconvenient table location
Our New Year's Eve gala was a bit of a mess, I must say. Despite paying a premium, we ended up at a table right in the walkway. I was like we were an afterthought. People constantly bumped into us as they headed to the toilets. It was hardly the sophisticated experience I'd envisioned.

I was greeted with champagne upon check-in, a wonderful touch. the lady behind reception was lovely, a great start to the stay. our room was beautiful, tastefully decorated, and very clean, the towels were bright white and fluffy. i also enjoyed the pool and spa for a couple of hours. It was very relaxing.
the hotel felt a little too large for my taste. it lacked the personal touches, but i take responsibility for not researching more thoroughly beforehand.

our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with sky tv. a mini fridge was included, and the decor looked tasteful. the bright white towels felt fresh.

the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room were available. the lobby and seating area seemed peaceful. the pool and spa offered hours of relaxation and good vibes.

The grounds and facilities looks good.
I find customer service in the restaurant in the evening was upsetting. Staff takes drink order. They also take choice of meal. No one even asked how our food were. I asked three members of staff about our bottle of prosecco to go with our meal. Two walked away without a word. The third came back with only one glass.
