a fantastic stay
lovely venuehelpful stafftraditional architecturebeautiful grounds
the wedding venue was certainly lovely. all facilities worked very well. staff was helpful and friendly at all times. i found the architecture traditional. i took a frosty morning walk around the beautiful grounds. i definitely will book another stay soon. the bed was cosy with a fantastic view.

breakfast had a splendid spread on the buffet. the pub on site provided a great option for meals. i thought the chinese style pork belly was the best meal i have had in a long time, really.

the grounds were very beautiful, great for a walk. the spa provided a relaxing environment. i enjoyed the benefit of the pub being directly on site. extensive parkland surrounded the hotel, offering a tranquil setting.

the hotel's exterior resembles a castle and adds to its charm. the interior design felt elegant. breakfast offered a good selection of options (i enjoyed the pastries).
i found that the room lacked proper cleanliness. there were cobwebs and hair on the bathroom floor. the hotel seems to need some updating and decorating.
