One Devonshire Gardens offers guests large, bright rooms, some featuring L'Occitane bathroom products and full-length baths. The hotel occupies a collection of Victorian row houses with remarkable two-story stained glass windows and grand staircases, creating a unique atmosphere, and some guests particularly enjoyed the whisky snug. While most find the decor exceptional, a few guests have noted that some aspects appear a little old. Guests can also enjoy the bar snacks and drinks and easily walk to the Botanic Gardens.

underwhelming stay , considering the reputation

dated roombreakfast selection
the room , a 'classic room' , felt quite dated. the bathroom had peeling wallpaper , a small shower , and generally looked like it needed an update. also , the lack of air conditioning was noticeable , even with the provided fan. the breakfast buffet , while having a decent selection , often had items that seemed like they had been sitting out for a while.
