christmas decorations enhanced the building's inherent beauty , with furniture and art appreciated throughout. my queen bed felt both soft and firm. turndown service included a small candle in the bathroom , providing sufficient light during the night.

breakfast included fresh options , such as overnight oats, fruit, juices, and toast. the shakshuka was a great option to enjoy leisurely on sunday mornings with newspapers. i enjoyed tea in the drawing room.

the concierge offered assistance every morning upon my descent and return. the staff called a cab , also provided directions to an obscure monument and the nearest underground station. nightly turndown service with a chocolate was provided.

The location is quite convenient (a short walk to main attractions).
I had issues with the room service . One evening, I ordered a late supper, and it arrived considerably later than the estimated time. The food temperature was not ideal and the order was incorrect. I received mashed potatoes instead of chips.

The front desk staff, specifically Benjamin, provided excellent service. They promptly addressed my requests and offered valuable local insights. I also appreciated the farewell gift of shortbread. It was a very nice touch. The flower boxes at the front door added charm.
I am still waiting for a refund since July. The lack of meaningful replies to my emails is disappointing.

The hotel enjoys a superb position in a very beautiful and quiet area, close to a park. The Victoria and Albert Hall is only about a ten-minute walk from the hotel. The immediate neighborhood is wonderful for quiet walks.

The staff members, especially Rosie and Jacques, were polite and efficient! They accommodated our luggage prior to check-in. They were very helpful in securing reservations for tours and restaurants, being always friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good with cooked-to-order options that catered to all preferences. The afternoon tea service offers a good variety of selections. One dinner in the Bar was excellent, with diverse menu choices available.

My beautiful king room featured wallpapered walls and tall windows. The room also included a comfortable bed and an unusual chandelier. The rooms and bathrooms are kept immaculate .
