fantastic stay near museums

the hotel's location was excellent. it was about a 5-10 minute walk to the rijksmuseum and van gogh museum. the hotel sits on a quiet street along a canal. my penthouse room had a fabulous city view. our room included robes, slippers, and plenty of towels.

when i returned to my room in the evening after being out all day, the housekeeping service left my hotel room door ajar. i spoke to reception about it. the staff didn't seem to appreciate my concern about this issue.

the staff was helpful. any question i had, they answered it readily. i found the reception to be efficient, too. overall, i had a pleasant experience with the staff.

our room was spacious. it easily accommodated three people. the tv also had a pretty good selection of channels. the bed was particularly comfortable, a real plus after a long day of sightseeing.
