The location was very convenient for museum visits. I found it easy to walk to the Rijksmuseum (and also to a supermarket nearby).

The reception staff did not seem properly trained (which was surprising). There was a long line whenever I needed assistance.

My room was spacious, and it was decorated nicely. I appreciated the chocolates and cake left out for Valentines Day. The location worked well for exploring the city.

I noticed the room was pretty warm. I heard a lot of noise from outside. The minibar lacked any items, which I found surprising. The bathroom cleanliness could have been better, too

i found the room quite spacious , a rarity in my travels. the shower had a rainfall feature over the bath , a feature i appreciated. breakfast included many different options.

the reception staff seemed undertrained , it took time to locate my reservation. my room was not cleaned until late in the afternoon , around 4:30 pm. the cleaning felt rushed when it finally happened.

I found the staff very helpful and polite, especially with directions to local attractions. Our superior room had an amazing canal view, which I thoroughly enjoyed each morning. I liked the honesty system at the bar for snacks and drinks. It felt very trustworthy. The location was perfect. It was close to all major museums and transportation.

The gym equipment could use some updating.

the hotel's location was excellent. it was about a 5-10 minute walk to the rijksmuseum and van gogh museum. the hotel sits on a quiet street along a canal. my penthouse room had a fabulous city view. our room included robes, slippers, and plenty of towels.

when i returned to my room in the evening after being out all day, the housekeeping service left my hotel room door ajar. i spoke to reception about it. the staff didn't seem to appreciate my concern about this issue.
