The location on the amstel river was acceptable. The view from my room was pretty. the reception area was nice.
The room was disappointing. It didn't resemble the pictures online, and the blanket felt thin. breakfast was the same four days in a row. i found the entrance impractical, as i had to climb stairs to enter. That was unexpected.

the room was spacious enough, which i found acceptable.
The gym was quite small. I did not expect that from a hotel claiming to be 5-star. the breakfast also did not meet my expectations, considering the hotel's rating, and the coffee from the machine was not good. these factors significantly impacted my stay.
